3G Wireless Gateway - Extending the reach of the wireless network

3G Wireless Networks around the world can reach into virtually every home and is a very cost effective means to deliver Telephone/Fax and Broadband Data services. Calyptech identified an underserved segment of the market, where the 3G wireless coverage may not be adequate to deliver the services enjoyed in the high density population centres. This resulted in a series of 3G Wireless Gateway devices that addressed these specific needs.

Frame Relay HSSI to DS3 Interface Adaptor

Calyptech's Frame Relay Interface Adaptor is a modular rack mounted system designed to translate between DS3 and HSSI interfaces. The systems represents a classic example where legacy equipment needed to be connected to new network elements which may not have the correct interface format. Calyptech provided the solution to this problem with the development of an interface element, which interfaces into the OSS, and allowed the client to avail of the new facilities offered by the newer element, while minimising disruption to existing network infrastructure, saving time and money.
