CALYPTECH’S INNOVATIVE MULTI-RATE PERFORMANCE MONITOR IP CORE SUPPORTS MULTIPLE TELECOM PROTOCOLS.

MELBOURNE, Victoria, May 4, 2004 - Calyptech, a leading Australian provider of innovative technological solutions, announce the release of their Multi-Rate Performance Monitor Core. This Intellectual Property (IP) core represents Calyptech’s latest offering in a suite of cores designed to more fully integrate SONET/SDH and Fiber-Channel solutions into Field Programmable Gate Array technology.

Calyptech’s Performance Monitor core is a leading-edge innovation. Before this solution was developed multiple devices were required to support the different telecommunications protocols. Now, Calyptech are enabling customers to reduce their costs, effort, design times, time-to-market and PCB real estate by implementing a single, flexible design that can be integrated into an FPGA to process multiple data rates while supporting both SONET/SDH and Fiber Channel/Gigabit Ethernet protocols.
