TELSTRA HAS AWARDED CALYPTECH ITS 2004 VENDOR AWARD FOR

"EXCELLENCE IN TECHNICAL INNOVATION"

MELBOURNE, Victoria, December 10, 2004 - Telstra Corporation, Australia's leading telecommunications service provider, has awarded Calyptech its 2004 Vendor Award for "Excellence in Technical Innovation" for their groundbreaking Voice Quality Enhancement System, the VQEST300, deployed within the Telstra CDMA Wireless Local Loop (WLL) network.

This prestigious award recognises Calyptech's ongoing commitment to develop technically innovative solutions and ways of working that go beyond the limits of contractual agreements - to ultimately deliver better value to Telstra's customers.

The Telstra Vendor Awards recognise excellence among Telstra's estimated 12,000 suppliers and vendors, and acknowledge their continuing support for Telstra's business objectives. The category for Excellence in Technical Innovation, attracted the most applicants, and resulted in four short listed candidates.
